Maddix Long Beach Concert reviews
Songs for the Environment
"It was great to see and hear Maddix again. He had wonderful musicians on tour to create the beautiful music we expect from him, and he looked great. Jason Crosby's keyboard, piano, and violin work were especially enjoyable. Some new songs were played. His newest song, Downhill from Everywhere, lamented the damage to our oceans caused by plastics and pollution. Although, he generously sang many songs from his earliest releases. Throughout his career, his focus on the environment created a moving experience, fitting for these times of Climate Crisis. He always seemed happy to perform in Philadelphia, like an old friend. It's always good to see him!"
